How do I enroll my child at Liddle Tykes in Galax, VA?

What documents are required for enrollment?
Families typically provide immunization records, emergency contacts, and signed enrollment forms. Our /enrollment page lists the full checklist; we will confirm any Virginia-specific requirements when you tour.
Programs & Ages
What age groups do you serve?
We offer infant care (birth–15 months), wobbler (16–23 months), toddler (2 years), preschool (3 years), Pre-K (4–5 years), before & after school (ages 5–12), and summer camp (ages 5–12). Program details are at /programs.
What curriculum do you use?
Classrooms use Frog Street curricula aligned to each age group—from Frog Street Infant through Pre-K, plus school-age and summer programs. Each program page describes the specific Frog Street module we use.
Do you offer part-time or drop-in care?
No. Liddle Tykes offers full-time enrollment only; we don’t offer part-time or drop-in care. Call 276-236-3421 to check availability for your child’s age group.
Health & Safety
Is Liddle Tykes licensed?
Yes. Liddle Tykes Child Development Center is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia and operates under the Virginia Department of Education. Call our office if you need license verification details.
How do you handle illness and medication?
We follow Virginia child care health guidelines. Families receive our illness and medication policies during enrollment. When in doubt, call the office before drop-off.
What meals are provided?
We participate in USDA and CACFP food programs. Meals and snacks follow program guidelines; ask about menus and allergies when you tour.
Tuition
How much does childcare cost?
Tuition varies by program and schedule. Call or email us for a quote tailored to your child’s age and days needed.
Are there registration or supply fees?
Fee details are shared during enrollment. We will provide a clear breakdown before you sign paperwork.

We are at 59 Melrose Ln, Galax, VA 24333. Directions and a map are on our contact page.
What are your hours?
Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We close on the same school vacation days as our sister school, Liddle Adventures Learning Academy; see our Child Care Services page for closures.
